It is used in cold, cough, dyspepsia, malaria and skin diseases.
(1) Its decoction or fresh juice is given in cold. Its fresh juice is given with Tankan kshar and honey in cough fever. The syrup of its flowers is also beneficial in cold etc.
(2) Its fresh juice is given in flatulence and abdominal pain.
(3) Its fresh juice is rubbed on the body in case of itching.
(4) Nasya of its fresh juice is useful in headache caused by cold.
(5) The fresh juice of its leaves is put in the eyes in case of jaundice.
